Action will be taken against ABVP ban in University of Jammu: BJP leader

New Delhi: Reacting to the ban on Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) in University of Jammu campus, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday said it will take action against the Vice Chancellor.

BJP leader Ram Madhav, on microbogging site Twitter, said the party has taken up the VC’s obstinate behaviour against the student wing of the Sangh Parivar.

He tweeted, “BJP Ministers take up Jammu Univ VC obstinate behaviour against ABVP. Action wl b taken.”

Recently, the entry of ABVP has been banned in all educational institutions in the Jammu region. The ban on the organisation comes in the back drop of BJP sharing power with PDP in the state.

ABVP the largest student organisation of the country is mostly operating in University of Jammu and its affiliated colleges across various districts.
