Four of seven non-Congress government parties in North-East forge alliance

New Delhi: Chief Minister of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland and Sikkim after meeting the national President of BJP proposed to join an alliance of non-Congress parties in the North-East.  .
"The alliance will be known as North-East Democratic alliance and will be a constituent of NDA", said a press statement.



Himanta Biswa Sharma, minister in the government of Assam has been declerad as the convenor. The main objective of the NEDA is slated to include development and and coordination among the states in the region including the Centre.
