CM Khattar announces compensation for victims

Pipli: Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Thursday announced a compensation of Rs. 50,000 to the people, who got injured in a low-intensity blast in Haryana roadways bus near Pipli village in Sonepat district of the state.
The state government has also formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) under the Additional Director General of Police to probe the matter.
At least nine people were injured in the blast in a Haryan Roadways bus on Thursday. The blast occurred at around 2:30 p.m. near Pipli in Kurukshetra, Haryana.  
The bus was going from Sonipat to Chandigarh at the time of the incident. The injured have been rushed to a nearby hospital.
As per sources the cause of the explosion is yet to be ascertianed by the authorities.  
A forensic team was rushed to the spot of the accident site to investigate the matter.
