New Delhi: Haryana Director General of Police made a controversial statement on Thursday when he said that anyone who insults a woman or tries to kill a person, the common man has the right to take the criminal's life.
The DGP further stated that if someone burns someone else's house and tries to kill that someone, then the law gives the common man the right to kill the man.
The DGP further exclaimed, "Police is already there, but you need to understand your role as a common man."

As per sources, a woman was insulted in Haryana on Wednesday during a wedding celebration following which a scuffle broke out between a group of men who shot each other with guns. Four people died in the incident.
