New Delhi: Indian intelligence agencies reportedly sent an alert to the Canadian government saying that pro-Khalistan terrorists are running a camp in British Columbia to carry out strikes in Punjab.
Reports said Hardeep Nijjar, a Canadian Sikh has taken over as the operational head of Khalistan Terror Force. He has formed a module of Sikh youths to carry out terror attack.
With reference to the Pathankot attack, the Punjab government has submitted a request to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) to seek Nijjar's extradition.
Nijjar is a wanted man in India, accused in connection of 2007 Shingaar cinema blast in Ludhiana where six people were killed. He has been baptized in Surrey since 1995 on a Canadian passport.
