Vadra embroiled in London home controversy?

New Delhi: The Finance Ministry is reportedly probing whether Robert Vadra, the son-in-law of Congress President Sonia Gandhi, is involved in purchase of a 'benami' or proxy-owned mansion in London in 2009.
According to the sources, the raid has been conducted by Emforcment Directorate and the Income-tax officials. The two preliminary reports suggest that there were e-mail exchanges between Vadra and his Executive Assistant, Manoj Arora pertaining to the payments and rennovations for the London home (12 Ellerton House, Bryanston Square). This mansion was reportedly bought for 19 lakh GBP (Rs. 19 crores) in October 2009 and sold in June 2010. .
However, the legal team of Vadra has firmly denied the charges. Last month, enforcement agencies had raided 18 premises owned by Sanjay Bhandari, a defence dealer.
Bhandari owns a company named, Offset India Solutions (OIS). An Intelligence Bureau report had earlier red-flagged his business dealings in 2014 after the Modi government took office. The report had suggested the Defence Ministry to refrain from undertaking any dealings with Bhandari.
"Sanjay Bhandari was specifically questioned whether Robert Vadra was the beneficiary of the sale of the Bryanston Square property in London. He did not deny the same but avoided a direct answer by stating that he would he able to confirm it by referring it to sale deed kept with his lawyer in London", says the report.
Bhandari had reportedly tried to destroy his BlackBerry phone during the raids. However, the agencies were able to recover data from his handset and his computers.
Incidentally, Robert Vadra is also being investigated for allegedly illegal land deals in Haryana and Rajasthan.

Indian Judicial system are giving full protection to all wealthy corrupts who are getting judgement according to their wishes. The glaring example is convicted Laloo who is convicted for 5 years by CBI court but still he is roaming freely with help of money. There is a number of such instances when convicted people got acquittal by killing witnesses and derailing judicial process by filing several litigation cases. There is complete collapse of judicial system in country which is giving full protection to wealthy criminals. Similarly Vadra is deeply involved in several cases but govt and investigating agencies are not arresting him which speaks about complete nexus of corrupts in this country who are giving full protection to criminals and only drama is staged to deceive people of country.
