Assam: Four KLO terrorists apprehended by army in Kokrajhar

Assam: Four Kamtapur Liberation Organisation (KLO) terrorists including the Area Commander and Deputy Commander, Kokrajhar district were nabbed by the army on Tuesday.
Army and Kokrajhar Police launched a joint search operation on Monday, 30th May and apprehended four hardcore terrorists of KLO from village Kalipukhri in Kokrajhar District. 
The apprehended terrorists were identified as Mridul Roy, Area Commander of Kokrajhar District, a 38th Batch trained cadre in Myanmar, Dhananjay Roy, Deputy Area Commander of Kokrajhar District, also 38th Batch trained in Myanmar. 
The other two terrorists have been identified as Kanak Roy and Konu Jeet Roy, both locally trained terrorists. Four Pistols, three hand grenades, few rounds ammunitions, some incriminating documents and demand notes of KLO were recovered from the terrorists.
Army has been carrying out sustained operations in the area to ensure that these terrorist organizations do not get an opportunity to recoup.
