Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Wednesday questioned the authencity of Mathura lab’s report which stated that the meat found from Mohammad Akhlaq’s house was of “cow or its progeny”.
The Chief Minister said that there was nothing objectionable found in the Dadri lynching victim’s house and the family of Akhlaq should get justice as murder had taken place.
“Where was the sample sent, who received it? There was nothing objectionable in his house. Everyone wants that the victim’s family should get justice as murder had taken place.

“After this incident, there was debate in the world regarding what to eat and speak. I think one should not get involved in such matters,” Yadav told media in Ambedkar Nagar district.
Akhilesh’s remarks came after the forensic report concluded that the meet found in the victim’s house was beef.
Akhlaq was lynched to death by a mob on September 28 in Dadri district.
