17 killed after bus crashes into two cars on Mumbai-Pune expressway

New Delhi: At least seventeen people have been killed and several others were injured in a fatal road mishap on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway on Sunday morning. The deceased include 13 males and four females.

The incident took place when a bus crashed into 2 cars and fell into a 20-feet deep ditch near Sukhapur.

Reports said the driver of a swift desire car was changing a punctured tyre and an Innova stopped to help him. Tragedy struck when a bus coming from Satara collided with both the cars and then fell into the ditch.

According to police, several others have been injured in the collision. They were immediately rushed to the MGM hospital in Panvel.
