Yasin Malik rally suspended as he spars with policemen

Srinagar: A protest rally proposed by the Chairman of Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Yasin Malik against the land allotment, has been suspended following a scuffle with policemen in Srinagar on Sunday.

In a video, the Pakistan sympathiser was seen slapping and attacking policemen, while his supporters scuffling with the officers.

Police detained Malik and took him into their custody.

Malik was arrested on May 25 from his party's Abi Guzar area office adjacent to the city centre Lal Chowk and was released on bail from Srinagar Central Jail on June 3.
