New Delhi: Four suspects were arrested by the Delhi police on Friday, who were allegedly plotting a murder conspiracy to kill underworld don Chhota Rajan.

The four accused have been identified as Robinson, Junaid, Yunus and Manish. The police recovered 9 mm pistols and cartridges from their possession during arrest.

According to the sources, the murder was planned by rival and fugitive underworld don Dawood Ibrahim’s key aide Chhota Shakeel. Allegedly, Chhota Shakeel had in the past made various attempts to get Rajan killed.

The four accused were held in Delhi on June 3 by the Delhi Police. All four accused hail from Delhi, NCR. According to reports, Chhota Shakeel contacted them through internet and social networking.

Incidentally, Chhota Rajan is in Tihar jail and police has instructed the security personnel for increasing his security.
