Hyderabad: Telangana Panchayat Raj (TPR) Minister Jupally Krishna Rao and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) state working president Revanth Reddy were involved in a scuffle during a meeting in Mahabubnagar district on Thursday.

A video recording shows Reddy was trying to interrupt Rao’s speech, following which a small clash erupted between the supporters.

Reports said the minister in his address blamed the TDP government for not coming forward to solve the interstate issue.

Reddy rushed towards the minister and snatched the microphone from Rao’s hand. He asked the minister not to mention Chandrababu Naidu at the function.

TDP and Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) supporters then raised slogans against each other.

Police intervened in the situation and pacified the workers.
