Eknath Khadse returns empty-handed from Delhi

New Delhi: Days after quitting the cabinet over allegations of MIDC land scandal; Eknath Khadse who went to meet PM Modi and BJP Party President, Amit Shah, returned empty handed from the national capital.
Since, neither of them was available, he instead called on veteran BJP leader Lal Krishna Advani and Union minister Nitin Gadkari and handed over documents that he asserted would establish his innocence in the case.
A senior BJP politician said that Shah was not in Delhi and would be back only on Monday and PM Modi had returned from his five-nation tour only on Friday and therefore did not want to meet anyone for a day or two, according to a ToI report.
Khadse's contention is that he was forced to quit the cabinet and not given an opportunity to present his case before the BJP high command, according to the report.
Additionally, Khadse has two more accusations including  a "trusted aide" Gajanan Patil demand of Rs 30 crore for allotment of a prime piece of land near Kalyan to a former director of a management institute, and another relating to a call received from underworld don Dawood Ibrahim's home in Pakistan.
