New Delhi: Two people were killed and another one was injured after a speeding car rammed into pedestrians at Delhi’s Janakpuri area on Monday morning.
“The incident took place at around 6 to 6:30 when my uncle was coming from his morning walk. The car hit him from back. There were three to four boys in the car. Out of which only one got arrested. They were so drunk that they were asking for cigarettes from the cops during questioning,” Arjun, one of the relatives of the victim said.
“The police brought the accused at around 7 a.m. The police took the boys for a medical check-up on our request. They were drunk,” added another relative of the victim.
According to police, two people died on the spot and another one has been admitted to the nearest hospital.
The accused has been arrested.

In April this year, one person was killed and three others were injured as a speeding BMW car hit them in Noida’s Sector 22.
