Allahabad: Kicking off the second day of the Bharatiya Janata Party s’ (BJP) National Executive meeting in Allahabad to plan for the crucial year ahead, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to formally launch the election campaign in Uttar Pradesh and make public the CM face for the upcoming assembly polls in 2017.
PM Modi will be addressing a public meeting in Allahabad after the executive meeting which will be attended by all the senior leaders of the party.
While addressing the rally, Narendra Modi targeted the Samajwadi Party (SP) for their work and development in the state of UP and said it was almost negligible, He further questioned, “How can the youth of India get employment opportunities if development does not take place?”
Setting up the tone for the upcoming UP polls, Modi told the gathering that BJP has extended its roots to places where no one have reached till now.
While addressing the rally Modi further commented that Mayawati and Mulayam Singh have a 'jugalbandi' — 5 years of Government for each party. The PM said that, till this is stopped development cannot take place in UP.
Appreciating his ministers Narendra modi said that Uttar Pradesh developed significantly under the rule of Kalyan Singh ji & Rajnath Singh ji. He further said that the BJP’s top most priority is development. 
"The state is afflicted with the evils of favouritism and communalism. There is a solution to every problem and that solution is development," Modi said while addressing a huge crowd after the Bharatiya Janata Party's two-day National Executive meet.
Criticising the SP government he said, “Uttar Pradesh receives Rs 1 Lakh crore from the Centre, don't know if it reaches the people here.
