Woman arrested for carrying live bullets

New Delhi: In a shocker coming from Delhi, a woman passenger was arrested at the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) for allegedly carrying live bullets in her baggage.
The officials said that the incident occurred around 9:00 PM on June 14, when Priyanka A, the accused was reportedly travelling to Lucknow, was intercepted by CISF personnel as she was carrying four bullets of 7.65-mm calibre in her baggage.
"The lady could not produce valid documents for carrying the ammunition. She was handed over to Delhi Police which arrested her under provisions of the Arms Act," a senior official said.
