New Delhi: A shocking incident took place in Bengaluru where a man was hacked to death by some unknown assailants at a Cafe Coffee Day outlet in Vijayanagar.
The 35-year-old identified as Mahesh was drinking coffee at the coffee shop around 7 pm, when four armed men barged into the shop and attacked him with lethal weapons. His friend Rakshith also suffered injuries in the attack.
As per sources, Mahesh was a rowdy-sheeter with multiple cases against him registered at various police stations in eastern Bengaluru.
The police say that the murder was planned and executed by the rival gang of the deceased.
A similar incident took place on April 27 when a 28-year-old gangster, Harsha was murdered in Vijayanagar. Sources report that the police are suspecting Mahesh’s murder as a revenge killing as he was closely connected with some of the accused arrested in that case.
No arrests in the case have been made so far.
