New Delhi: Officials at New Delhi’s Indira Gandhi Airport had a strange conundrum in their hands on Friday when one of the security staff inside the airport said that they saw “carrying bomb” message written on the luggage of one of the passengers.

The passenger, a Kashmiri girl studying medicine, was travelling with three of her friends from Dhaka in Bangladesh to New Delhi through Kolkata.

However, after an intense interrogation from the airport officials and a lot of tweets from Omar Abdullah to the Home Minister and the Prime Minister, the girl was released by the airport authority.

It is unclear as to how or why the message had been written on her luggage.
