Overbooked British Airways forces passengers to wait

New Delhi: An overbooked British Airways reportedly forced passengers to wait for hours inside Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport on Saturday.

The Delhi-London Flight 256 had made the passengers wait inside the aircraft for more than four hours without any air conditioning, food or water when was brought to a halt.

It is the second harrowing day of wait for the passengers of the aircraft which didn’t leave the airport.

Meanwhile, a report quoting British Airways said that engineers are working to fix the fault with Flight 256. It said passengers were provided with alternate flights, hotel and accommodation on the previous evening.
