New Delhi: Rajasthan Home Minister Gulab Chand Kataria created an 'uncomfortable' stir on Sunday when he used a curse word against former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in a public speech in Churu.

Refering to Manmohan as "Sa**", Kataria, in an enflamed rhetoric, said that the former prime minister of India was received by ordinary ministers while PM Modi was received by none other than US President Barack Obama himself.

The minister also referred to Manmohan Singh as a "corrupt monster" which needed to be eradicated from India. Kataria was all praises for Prime Minister Narendra Modi and complimented his work.

However, when contacted later about the usage of slur in his speech, Kataria was apologetic and said that he did not mean to use the curse word in his speech. He said that the word came out because he was in the flow of the speech and did not realise.

"I sometimes make such an error," said the Home Minister.
