New Delhi: India is all set to get its second bullet train service that will run from Delhi to Varanasi. This will be the second train of this kind, the first bullet train of India runs along the Mumbai-Ahmadabad corridor.
The train will travel from national Capital Delhi to Varanasi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Lok Sabha constituency in just two hours and forty minutes. The train will travel to Varanasi via Aligarh, Agra, Kanpur, Lucknow and Sultanpur.
The train will cover a distance of 782 km and the project is estimated at Rs 43,000 crore.
As per a Times of India report, the project of bullet train in Uttar Pradesh is expected to be fast-tracked in the wake of UP assembly polls next year.
