Nature’s wrath: 54 dead in Bihar after thunder strike wreaks havoc

Patna: Lightening in different districts in the state of Bihar in the past 24 hours wreaked havoc for the inhabitants. As per reports, 54 people are dead, 8 injured and 2 are in critical condition due to erratic lightning strikes that took place on June 21.
The Principal Secretary of State Disaster Management Department Vyasji informed that the government has announced a compensation of Rs. 4 lakh to the kin of the victims. 
As per reports, the most affected districts are Patna, Nalanda, Purnia, Kaimur, Rohtas, Sharasha, Katihar, Buxar, Samastipur, Muzaffarpur, Munger, Bhojpur , Madhepura and Kishanganj. 
Monsoon rains have struck the state of Bihar from Tuesday as there are continuous lashing and thunderbolts at regular intervals.
