Teacher stabs student in Bowenpally, Hyderabad

Hyderabad: In yet another shocking incident, a student from the second standard of a government primary school in Bowenpally, Andhra Pradesh was severely beaten up by his teacher. The small kid Nani had to attend to nature's call and he went on to relieve himself without taking the teacher's permission.

The teacher, Anataiah, stabbed Nani with a sharp pencil which pierced deeply into the right side of his neck. When the boy collapsed, Anataiah took him to a nearby hospital. Nani's parents have filed a police complaint against the teacher.

Nani is the son of K Vekatesham, a labourer who said that after they filed a complaint the teacher called them and wanted to talk to them.

Official enquiry is on and the officials have promised to take strong action against the teacher.

Inspector K Kiran, the police in charge said, “We are collecting details from students and questioning the teacher also.”
