Mumbai: Another development in the sensational Sheena Bora murder case took place on Monday after Peter Mukerjea’s bail plea was adjourned till July 7.
Peter Mukerjea’s bail plea who is one of the co-accused in the Sheena Bora murder was twice rejected by the Sessions court after which he had approached the Bombay High Court. Peter said that he had not been given a fair hearing by the judges in the session’s court as there were not sufficient grounds in the charges to implicate him and therefore he should be given bail.
Peter Mukejrea was arrested just after the CBI had filed the first charge sheet in the case and has been co-accused in the Sheena Bora murder case along with Indrani Mukerjea.
Interestingly, last time around, the Sessions court judge had said that on certain grounds with regards to the fresh notings given by the officers would further impact the probe in the entire case, therefore he could not be given the bail.
