New Delhi: After facing allegations of compromising the crime scene and conducting a partial probe, the investigating team in the Kerala student rape and murder case have done a flip-flop. The probe in the case has been widened with the angle of reconstructing the crime scene being taken into consideration.
The rape accused, Amir Ul Islam was taken to the crime scene in order to collect some evidence. The probe team recreated the entire scene hoping to get some crucial evidences such as the knife he used for killing her.
The accused was also taken to the lodge where he used to stay and the hotel, of which he was a frequent customer.
According to the police reports, Amir on April 28th had visited the student’s home but left after an altercation took place between them. He then returned in the evening when he raped and killed the law student.
