Woman gang-raped in Rajasthan, rapists tattoo profanities on her body

Jaipur: In a shocking incident, a 30-year-old woman was allegedly gangraped by her husband and his brothers in Alwar. They went to the extent of tattooing expletives on her forehead and hand, as her family could not fulfil their dowry demands.
As per reports, the parents of the victim claim that their daughter was sedated with some drug in her drinks and was tattooed. The victim says one of her tattoo on her hands reads, “My father is a thief".
The victim was married to Jagannath in Reni village in January last year and since then her husband and in- laws tortured her and demanded dowry of Rs 51,000.
Police said, "Her husband and brothers-in-law allegedly raped her and tattooed profanities on her forehead which her parents later made an attempt to get removed."

An FIR has been registered under sections of 498-A (Protection of Women Against Domestic Violence Act), 376 (punishment for rape), 406 (punishment for criminal breach of trust) of IPC and the case is initiated for an investigation.
