New Delhi: As if the ban on the slaughtering of cows wasn't enough, a team of Indian scientists at the Junagadh Agricultural University said on Wednesday that they found gold in a cow's urine.

Dr B Golakia, a teacher at the Junagadh Agriculture University, said that they found 10 to 30 milligrams of gold per litre of the cow's urine. This is a first in all news about absurd findings.

The team of scientists at the university are still looking into whether any liquid excretion from the cow could lead to the finding of gold. It is unclear how they discovered gold in the first place.

Cow slaughter is banned in many states across India.
