Hyderabad: In a massive breakthrough, the National Investigative Agency (NIA) on Wednesday morning, after a tip off about suspicious activities, conducted raids at 10 different locations of the city. Weapons, explosives and a large amount of cash has been recovered by the agency.
According to reports, an Islamic State (IS) terror module has been busted following the raids. At least four men have also been arrested by the NIA sleuths for further questioning. Reports state that the busted module was involved in recruiting youths for the Syria-based terror outfit Islamic State.
The raid was conducted in order to bust, if any, terror module operating in the city, which turned out to be a successful one. The search for more such terror modules is still on.
The investigation is at a preliminary stage but the interrogations are being made to reach the ultimate link of such modules.
