New Delhi: Sources have revealed that a likely cabinet reshuffle is on the cards for the Modi government. The reshuffle could take place from 1 July to 8 July.
Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and BJP President Amit Shah will be meeting the Prime Minister in regard to the impending reshuffle.
As per sources, the reshuffle would be somewhere around 4 July. Apart from elevating those who performed well, the PM may accommodate some powerful faces from Uttar Pradesh (UP) so that they can actually be used in the forthcoming assembly elections in the state. Induction of some prominent faces from Assam may also be seen.
The Rashtrapati Bhawan is already being prepared for a particular ceremony but the exact date for the ceremony is not known yet. However, news about the cabinet reshuffle was in the air for quite some time now.
