New Delhi: On the eve of submitting his report to the Haryana Government, Justice Dhingra on being asked if a clean chit had been given to Robert Vadra, refused to comment on it and instead said, "Please wait for the report."
The Justice said, “My report is ready so I will ask the government to give me time. If they give me time for tomorrow, I shall submit the report tomorrow itself, and if they give me some other day’s time I shall submit it on that day."
Though the Justice was non-committal on Vadra, what is important to see is what big political name will emerge from the report. As per sources, some big political names may be seen in the report.
What needs to be seen is if this is a reason to fear for the Congress.
Congress vice president Sonia Gandhi’s son-in-law Robert Vadra has been under the scanner for some time now. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) had issued a notice to Skylight Hospitality Ltd., allegedly Robert’s firm.
In the meantime, while speaking to NewsX former Haryana CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda said, he "wants the Dhingra panel scrapped."
The ex-CM said the probe is nothing but vendetta and that there is no proof against them.
Earlier Hooda had beeen summoned at least twice to appear before the Dhingra Commission but he refrained from doing so.
What is important is the timing at which this demand comes from the ex-CM.
