New Delhi: Sky Light Hospitality, the firm linked with Priyanka Gandhi's husband Robert Vadra, was issued fresh summons by the Enforcement Directorate on Friday.
The firm has been issued a two-week notice to file up financial statements and various other documents. The firm had earlier in the month received a notice from ED asking about explanation related to the deal.
Robert Vadra, who is accused of exercising his influence due to his connection with the Gandhi family, has alleged links to a firm called Sky Light Hospitality which received over-the-counter cheap deals in Haryana and Rajasthan. The firm has been issued a two-week notice to file up financial statements and various other documents.
Investigators in the case alleged that Sky Light Hospitality bought more than 70 acres of land in Rajasthan in 2010 for a price of Rs 70 lakhs. The firm then sold the land for Rs 5 crore after three years.
Justice SN Dhingra, a former judge, is going to give his report on the land deal linked to Robert Vadra. However, the Congress and the Gandhi family have alleged that the ruling government is conspiring to denigrate the image of the Congress party.
