New Delhi: An Air India flight from Mumbai to Riyadh on Friday hit an aerobridge at Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport before takeoff. The incident happened when the plane was being taxied on to the runway for takeoff.
The plane sustained damage to its rotar blades on the left wing.
According to reports, the guidance system displayed wrong information while parking of Air India 922 Mumbai to Riyadh flight at the arrival bay.
"Due to wrong information which was not compatible with this model of aircraft, the left engine of aircraft got into contact with parked aerobridge," the offials said.
