PM Modi meets Indian athletes bound for Rio Olympics; wishes them luck

New Delhi: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday met all the Indian athletes bound to participate in the 2016 Rio Olympics which will be held in Rio de Janeiro.

At Manekshaw Centre in New Delhi, the PM met the sportspersons and personally wished each of them for the world sporting event.

Around 100 athletes from 13 sports disciplines have qualified for the Rio Olympics. It is scheduled to begin from August 5 to 21.
