Three persons were killed after gas leaked at a factory in Haryana’s Sonipat district

New Delhi: In a factory tragedy, three persons were killed on Wednesday after gas leaked at a factory in Haryana’s Sonipat district.

The incident occurred at a Ferozpur Bangar catechu factory. All the deceased persons belonged to Haryana.

A worker alleged that the manger of the factory ignored his complain when informed about the leak gas pipe.

The state police registered a case on the incident.

Last month, two people, including a civilian were killed and another two injured following leakage of toxic fumes from the sewage plant on board Russian-made aircraft carrier INS Vikramaditya in Karnataka.

Earlier, six employees of a steel plant in Bhilai fell ill following a gas leak in the plant premises.
