One person washed away in waterfall in Rewa, Madhya Pradesh

New Delhi: Due to a sudden rise in water level following incessant rains in Madhya Pradesh, five persons were stranded in a waterfall in Rewa district of the state.
Of the five people stranded, four are safe but one person unfortunately got washed away in the fast-flowing waters. Search is underway for the missing person.
The MP CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan tweeted his remorse about the incident. 
As per sources, senior administration officials have reached the spot of the accident and search operations are underway.
The met department has predicted heavy rainfall in the coming days.
