New Delhi: Liquor baron Vijay Mallya will be making a rare public appearance on Friday in the United Kingdom when he will attend the team bosses conference scheduled ahead of the Formula One British Grand Prix at Silverstone.
Mallya has been declared a wilful defaulter and is being pursued for extradition by the Indian government. Mallya has a debt of over Rs 9,000 crore to various Indian banks.
It will be the first time that Vijay Mallya will be making a public appearance following his move from India to the UK in March. Mallya will be seen alongside other bosses of different teams in the press conference.
Though Mallya's Kingfisher Airlines has long been grounded, his Formula One team Force India is doing well.
