HYDERABAD: Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper and Indian cricket Vice-Captain Virat Kohli got into an ugly spat with Umpire Kumar Dharmasena during the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Kohli was upset at Dharmasena for not stopping the match during Hyderabad’s innings due to light rain. Kohli lost cool at the umpire after the final over of the innings.

During the fourth over, the 26-year-old cricketer misfielded as the ball slipped out of his palms and he tried to draw the attention of the umpires as it was steady downpour.

Once the over ended, the agitated Indian Test Captain went towards unpire Dharmasena and asked why the match was not stopped due to rain.

The RCB skipper was visibly angry & questioned the umpire’s decision. He was joined by his teammate Dinesh Karthik who continued his spat with the umpire well into the innings.

Meanwhile, another umpire Anil Chaudhary asked Kohli to remain calm but Kohli continued the argument for long even though Dharmasena seemed quite upset.
