West Bengal: Car in CM Mamata Banerjee's convoy falls into gorge in Darjeeling

New Delhi: A car in West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's convoy fell into a gorge on Friday afternoon where six people suffered grievous injuries. 
The West Bengal Chief Minister was travelling in a convoy with Indian President Pranab Mukherjee when one of the cars in their convoy fell into a gorge between Darjeeling and Bagdogra. The President and the CM were believed to be travelling to the Bagdogra airport. 

Rescue team promptly came to the rescue of the injured persons in the accident. The president and the CM escaped unhurt in the accident. 
Mamata Banerjee has announced a reward for the rescue team for the effective operation.
