New Delhi: Within hours of earthquake in Gujarat on Sunday morning, measuring 4.7 on Richter scale, another one hit the northern areas of India including Amritsar in the afternoon. The magnitude has been measured to be 4.4.
The earthquake was also felt in our neighbouring country, Pakistan, the major area under influence being Lahore.
The earthquake took place at 5.24 pm in Indian Standard Time (IST)
The tremors were felt in the areas of Gujarat including Adajan, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Palitana, Savarkundla and other places. However, the morning earthquake in Gujarat reported no casualty or damage.
