Monsoon Session: Lok Sabha adjourned till Tuesday on account of Dalpat Paraste's death

New Delhi: After the newly elected Member of Parliaments took oath in the Lok Sabha on Monday, the lower house of the Parliament was adjourned till Tuesday due to the passing of a Lok Sabha MP from Shahdol, Dalpat Singh Paraste.

After Prime Minister Narendra Modi introduced the new ministers in his Cabinet to the Lok Sabha, the first Monsoon Parliament session was adjourned.

Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan condoled and paid tribute to Dalpat Singh Paraste who died on 1st June. The second session will take place on Tuesday 11 AM.

Before entering the Parliament House, PM Modi had expressed his desire for constructive discussions in the parliament for further development. After attending the oath-taking ceremony, the PM moved to Rajya Sabha.
