SAD suspends Pargat and Bolaria

New Delhi: Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) President S. Sukhbir Singh Badal on Tuesday 19 July, suspended S. Pargat Singh and S. Inderbir Singh Bolaria (both MLAs) from the party. Sending out a strong signal that no indiscipline would be tolerated in the party, Sukhbir Badal said, "Indiscipline in the party will not be tolerated at any cost."
In a statement released to the media from the party head office in Chandigarh, the party Secretary and Spokesman Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema said that the decision of suspending Pargat and Bolaria had been taken by the SAD president S. Sukhbir Singh Badal in consultation with the senior members of his party.
This harsh decision was taken after the MLAs had been found responsible for anti-party behaviour. All senior leaders of the party advised the party president Sukhbir Singh Badal to take firm action against the two party members.
