New Delhi: Amidst uproar in the Lok Sabha during the Monsoon Session of Parliament, Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi was caught 'dozing off'' while the House was discussing the atrocities on Dalit youths in the past few days and Dalit protests.
Earlier today, Congress party announced that Rahul would be visiting violence-hit Una district to meet the victims.
Giving clarification over Rahul Gandhi sleeping in parliament, Congress leader Renuka Chowdhury said, "How can anyone sleep in so much uproar? He was not sleeping. There are much bigger issues to discuss."

Rajya Sabha MP Subhramanian Swamy took a jibe on Rahul Gandhi sleeping in Parliament and said, "BJP leader Buddhu was asleep in LS, CM of Gujarat was on the job-suspension of rogue policemen setting up special court and four days for charge sheet."

Meanwhile, a screen grab went viral on Twitter showing Rahul Gandhi resting his face on his palm, however it is unclear from the screenshot whether RaGa was actually sleeping or just 'checking' his phone.

Countering the charge, Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi said, "Castigating this attempt to create diversion on such a serious debate on dalits. One it is a lie that he was caught napping and last I checked checking ones phone is not a crime. Modi was caught napping too but we didn't make an issue of it .We have a visual of it too. (26th November, 2015)"

Let's not trivialise the importance that was being discussed.

Raul taking a nap in Parliament

Why make such an issue of Raul taking a little NAP in the Parliament ??? Probably, he must have been "drugged" (ie) heavy medication for " Bad Mouth Treatment-- Dental" !!
