New Delhi: Amidst huge controversy that stormed Parliament on Wednesday after expelled Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Dayashankar Singh’s derogatory comment comparing Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief and former UP chief minister Mayawati to a prostitute, BSP’s Chandigarh chief Jannat Jahan on Thursday announced a reward of Rs 50 Lakh to anyone who gets her Dayashankars’ tongue.
“Will give reward of Rs 50 lakh to person who gets Dayashankar’s tongue. I stand by my statement,” BSP leader Jannat Jahan said.
Earlier in the day, attacking the BJP over Dayashankar’s comment, Mayawati said, “If BJP leaders themselves filed an FIR against Dayashankar Singh, then they would have won my heart. Removing from party is a normal process. It would have been better if they (BJP) had registered FIR against him.”
Meanwhile, Union Minister Uma Bharti said, “If Mayawati ji is attacked again we’ll stand with her again. But if she wants to use this in polls then she should forget about it.”
