BJP’s Yogi Adityanath in soup over ‘king’ poster

New Delhi: A day before Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rally in Uttar Pradesh’s Gorakhpur, a poster of BJP leader Yogi Adityanath surfaced in the city depicting him as the king of Uttar Pradesh and PM Modi as Chanakya.

The poster was released by a BJP minority wing on Thursday showing Yogi Adityanath sitting on a throne. Navi Hassan, Board Chairman, Irfan Ahmad, State Working Committee Member, Shamim Ahmad, Former Metropolitan Chairman and Riyaz Ahmed, Metropolitan General Secretary can also be seen in the poster.

The text written on the poster says ‘Desh mei Modi, Pradesh mei Yogi.’

The members of the BJP minority wing on Thursday held a rally waving the flags of Yogi Adiryanath.

With the upcoming 2017 Assembly elections, the poster war in Uttar Pradesh has become the main tool of criticizing the Opposition parties.
