Lucknow: With the 2017 Assembly elections around the corner, political jibes have already taken over. In a recent event, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav expressed his views about the controversy of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader’s derogatory remark on Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati. Akhilesh Yadav said that one portion of the statement made by BJP state vice-president Dayashankar Singh was absolutely wrong and condemnable.
Further, Akhilesh Yadav added the other half of the statement given by the BJP leader was absolutely correct. “I have inquired from a lot of people and received the same answers from everyone that Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) takes money to distribute tickets. All the people who leave BSP all say the same thing,” the CM said.
Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav also took a jibe at the former CM Mayawati and asked the journalists how many times they had meet ‘Bua’ (refering to Mayawati) during her tenure as the Chief Minister of UP.
Akhilesh Yadav did not spare the Bharatiya Janata Party and said when we (Samajwadi Party) call her Bua (father’s sister) what was the harm if BJP called her the same.
He also said that that Rakshabandhan is approaching and the top brass should celebrate the occasion with Mayawati and settle the issue.
