New Delhi: In a shocking incident, 2 people were killed and 10 were injured on Sunday after an under construction building collapsed in Film Nagar located in Hyderabad’s Jubilee Hills. Both the deceased were labourers.
Reports said that over a dozen other workers are seriously injured.
At least, three persons were feared trapped under the debris.
Most of the pillars of the building were reportedly razed to the ground. The three-storey building was being built next to the Film Nagar Cultural Centre.
Authorities have launched rescue operations and the injured persons have been shifted to the nearby hospital.
Meanwhile, the Hyderabad Mayor announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh to the family of the deceased.
