New Delhi: School children in Bhadohi district of Uttar Pradesh were struck with tragedy when their van collided with an approaching train. At least seven children were instantly killed.
School children of Tender Heart Public School were travelling in their school van when an Allahabad-Varanasi passenger train sped full-speed into an unmanned railway crossing, sending the van tumbling out of the road.
Twelve children who were injured in the accident were immediately rushed to the hospital by authorities who rushed to scene.
It is being reported that the van driver’s negligence had lead to the accident.
