New Delhi: The Aam Aadmi party MP Bhagwant Mann, who had triggered a controversy by sharing a live video of Parliament last week, has been suspended from the Parliament till the end of the ongoing Monsoon Session. He has been told not to attend the Lok Sabha till a decision is made by the committee.
A nine-member enquiry committee has been set to probe and submit the report, Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan said.
Bhagwant Mann had apologised for posting a video on security zones in Parliament House complex and had removed the clipping from his Facebook account also. But the LS speaker on Monday told him to stay away from the Parliament proceedings.
Speaking to media, the AAP MLA Bhagwant Mann said that his intention was not to put the Parliament’s security at risk.
“My intention was not to put Parliament's security at risk, I just wanted to make an educational video,” Bhagwant Mann said.
