Sunanda Pushkar Death Case: Delhi Court accepts police plea for lie detector test; Witnesses say they are ready for the test

NEW DELHI: Days after Delhi Police filed plea seeking permission to conduct polygraph or lie detector test on three witnesses in Sunanda Pushkar murder case, a Delhi Court on Wednesday gave nod for lie detector test.

All three witnesses were present in the court. They agreed for the polygraph test, saying they have nothing to hide and are ready for the test.

Last week, a Special Investigation Team of Delhi Police had sought permission to the court, saying they wanted to conduct polygraph test on three persons who are suspects in this case and they are lying on some aspects. All three suspects, including Congress leader Shashi Tharoor’s driver Bajrangi, domestic help Narain Singh and Family friend Sanjay Dewan, are very much familiar with the facts related to the death of Sunanda Pushkar Tharoor and it has been found that facts are being concealed, the police claimed.
