New Delhi: Taking a jibe at Bollywood actor Aamir Khan, Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar on Sunday said how can anyone dare to talk ill about our country? If anyone speaks like this, they need to be taught a lesson.
"When the actor did this, people discontinued association with online trading company he was associated with," Parrikar said.
Parrikar was speaking at a ceremony to launch Marathi edition of a book by journalist Nitin Gokhale.

In November 2015, the actor had commented on the issue of growing intolerance in India. But his comment was not taken well by the people of India and he faced severe criticism for his remark.
Parrikar said “People have shown their power, an actor did this mistake, said his wife wants to go and stay in a foreign country. Arrogant statement.”
Aamir Khan was the brand ambassador of Snapdeal but after his ‘intolerance remark, the e-commerce giant suffered losses.
